Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen and mature our Microsoft-centered security program in an in-office role in Orlando or Tampa. This hands-on position focuses on threat detection, tenant hardening, identity modernization, and security automation across the firm.

You will communicate risk and remediation to technical teams and firm leadership, while protecting sensitive client and matter data in a large, multi-state environment.

Qualifications

• Experience securing enterprise Microsoft environments and threat detection.
• Experience in law firm or regulated environment preferred.
• Strong communication of risk to technical and leadership.
• Hands-on engineering with security controls across cloud and identity.
• Willingness for after-hours changes if needed.

Responsibilities

• Detect and respond using Defender XDR and Sentinel.
• Lead tenant hardening and endpoint security with Defender for Endpoint and Intune.
• Build security automation to reduce manual work and accelerate response.
• Govern Azure resources and data with Purview, DLP and IRM.
• Strengthen IAM and least-privilege practices firm-wide.
• Document standards and runbooks; communicate security posture to leadership.
