Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Cryptographic Controls organization. You will work as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted automations and secure, scalable solutions that support the firm’s business objectives.

You will develop secure production code using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and AWS, perform maintenance, and help drive a resilient cloud architecture.

Qualifications

• Security engineering concepts with 10+ years of applied experience.
• Experience developing security engineering solutions and SDLC knowledge.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, and security practices.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring; AWS deployment experience.
• Experience with RESTful services, JUnit, Mockito, Maven, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Executes security solutions design, development, and troubleshooting for internal clients.
• Creates secure production code and scalable applications for cloud environments.
• Designs, codes, and tests Java/J2EE applications using Spring/Spring Boot in AWS.
• Maintains software with focus on security, reliability, and architecture.
• Identifies data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system design.
• Resolves high-impact production issues and supports business applications.
• Drives cost-effective security solutions and adopts best practices.
