Job summary

Kuvare is seeking a Security Administrator to join the Information Security team in a hands-on role across a hybrid Microsoft-based environment. You will help engineer, harden, and operate security controls, contribute to incident response, and implement security-as-code practices in a regulated financial services context.

The role emphasizes security operations, identity and access management, and cloud security engineering with automation to support compliance and resilience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT with at least 3 years in Cybersecurity.
• 4+ years hands-on with Microsoft technologies (admin/engineering/ops).
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications (CEH/OSCP/AZ-500/SC-300/SC-200/SC-100).
• Deep knowledge of Defender, Intune, Sentinel, and Entra ID to operate day one.
• Experience in hybrid cloud security architecture and controls.
• Strong security tooling administration, configuration, and tuning.
• Experience with endpoint security and device management (Intune).
• Knowledge of network security concepts (VPNs, firewalls, SASE).
• Proven incident monitoring, response, and daily security operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tune detections in Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR.
• Design and automate responses with SOAR playbooks to reduce triage time.
• Lead hands‑on incident response for breaches and compromises.
• Develop security controls from policies into enforceable configurations.
• Maintain asset inventories and security documentation; support compliance.
