Job summary

Kuvare is seeking a Security Administrator to join our Information Security team. This hands-on role spans Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and on-prem infrastructure, focusing on incident response, access hardening, and cloud security engineering.

You will design detections in Defender XDR, automate responses, manage privileged access, and ensure compliance within a regulated financial services environment. The ideal candidate brings deep technical security expertise and a DevSecOps mindset.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in Cybersecurity.
• Hands-on 4+ years with Microsoft technologies in admin/engineering/operations.
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications in good standing (e.g., CEH, OSCP, AZ-500, SC-300, SC-200, SC-100).

Responsibilities

• Operate, tune, and build detections in Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel to detect, investigate, and respond to threats.
• Lead incident response for data breaches, malware outbreaks, and identity compromises across cloud and on-prem systems.
• Engineer and administer Entra ID: CA, PIM, privileged access groups, and hybrid identity.
• Develop disaster recovery and resilience plans from a security perspective.
• Build automation and IaC to deploy security controls consistently.
