Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Cyber Security Cloud Engineer in the Phoenix, AZ area. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and securing a hybrid cloud environment using GCP and Azure, integrating with our existing backbone to support scalable, compliant operations.

Candidates should have a strong background in cloud security, incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant cloud certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years' related experience in computer science or information sciences.
• 3 years of experience in information security engineering or architecture, cloud engineering required.
• 7 years in information security engineering or architecture, cloud engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy security configurations within GCP and Azure environments.
• Collaborate with IT, Enterprise Architecture, and application teams to ensure cloud security and compliance.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments for security and compliance.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to junior security staff.
• Automate security controls and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
