Providence is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for a hybrid role, focused on designing and managing cloud services using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to optimize and secure cloud infrastructure along with supporting hybrid environments, crucial for compliance with healthcare regulations.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least five years in a related field, with expertise in Azure DevOps, Terraform, and security controls.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related experience is required.
• Experience leveraging data and metrics to drive decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills using root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, operate, and administer Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Configure and manage Azure networking components.
• Implement and manage Azure Policy in enterprise environments.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure CLI.
• Manage and troubleshoot servers in VMware and Hyper-V environments.
• Secure hybrid environments against compliance requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production incidents.
• Lead technical conversations and create documentation.
