Qualifications

• 5+ years of security engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Experience building security controls as code with Terraform and Python.
• Experience authoring and tuning detections and SIEM rules.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain security controls as code across cloud environments.
• Own vulnerability management end-to-end and drive remediation to closure.
• Run the recurring alert-review workflow and tune detections to reduce noise.
• Build and maintain log ingestion and SIEM pipelines; participate in incident response.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on architecture, auth, and app security reviews; support compliance efforts.
