Job summary

Ramp seeks a Security Engineer to strengthen cloud security across our platform and drive secure infrastructure evolution. You’ll own security-focused initiatives, partner with infra and DevOps, and lead remediation of critical issues to protect customer data and enable scalable growth.

The role emphasizes ownership, fast delivery, and hands-on security engineering across AWS, Terraform, and modern cloud services, with strong collaboration across teams at Ramp.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience building software.
• Minimum 3 years of experience building in AWS (with Terraform).
• Strong sense of ownership to drive projects end to end.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow.

Responsibilities

• Drive the cloud security roadmap and review cloud deployments for improvements.
• Design and build security-focused infrastructure primitives integrated into products.
• Lead remediation of prioritized issues across the tech stack.
• Collaborate with infra, data, and DevOps to deploy secure solutions.
