Job summary

AWS Professional Services (ProServe) seeks a Cloud Security Consultant to join our team in Chicago, IL. You will work with customers to implement, automate, and manage AWS solutions to protect assets and enable security teams to operate more effectively.

You will solve technical problems, collaborate to define solutions, and provide guidance through project delivery, with a focus on scalable and secure cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3).
• Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., CS, Engineering).
• 1+ years automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments.
• 3+ years in security-related domains (application security, IAM, incident response, cloud security, threat intelligence).

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems independently.
• Collaborate with others to define and implement solutions.
• Escalate risks with options, impact, and recommended solutions.
• Be an established expert in at least one technology domain.
• Implement, automate, and manage scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
