Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Security Consultant to join the ProServe team. You will design, implement, and automate secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs, guiding security practices and reducing risk across engagements.

Responsibilities include technical problem solving, collaboration with customers, and delivering secure architectures with automation and robust controls. A strong security background and AWS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS, engineering, data science, etc.).
• 3+ years in security domains (application security, IAM, incident response).
• 1+ year automating security operations and policy-as-code.
• DevOps scripting experience (Shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell).
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and GDPR security/compliance.
• AWS Professional certifications preferred.
• Enterprise security solutions experience (WAF, IPS, SIEM).

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems independently.
• Collaborate with teams to define and implement secure AWS solutions.
• Escalate risks with options, impact, and recommendations.
• Be an established expert in at least 1 technology domain.
• Implement, automate, and manage scalable and secure AWS solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery.
