Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join the AWS ProServe team. You will work with customers to implement, automate, and manage AWS solutions that secure assets and enable security teams to operate more effectively.

As a trusted advisor, you will architect scalable, secure solutions, gather requirements, assess security capabilities, and guide customers through best practices while managing risk across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3).
• 1+ years automating security operations including scripting and automation to build secure environments and remediation workflows.
• 3+ years in security domains such as application security, identity and access controls, incident response, cloud security, or penetration testing.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems independently.
• Collaborate with others to define and implement solutions.
• Escalate risks with options, impact, and recommended solutions.
• Be an established expert in at least 1 technology domain.
• Implement, automate, and manage scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
