Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking a Cloud Security Consultant to help customers implement and automate secure AWS solutions and to protect assets while enabling security teams to operate efficiently.

You will collaborate across teams to define solutions, solve complex problems, and escalate risks with recommended mitigations. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security and AWS services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
• 1+ years in automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code
• 3+ years of any combination of the following: application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing experience
