Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sr II Security Compliance Specialist to guide cloud infrastructure compliance and enable scalable control improvements.

You will work with architects, lead audit readiness, and drive cross-functional remediation across our global platforms. You will translate regulatory standards into actionable guidance for engineering teams, evaluate architectures against industry benchmarks, and contribute to security playbooks and automated monitoring workflows.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or NIST.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, identity management, network security, and vulnerability management.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills; stakeholder management.
• Familiar with compliance automation tools, GRC platforms, and cloud service providers.
