E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Security Assessor to join our hybrid team in Clarksburg, WV. The role focuses on developing and implementing secure cloud configurations and conducting on-demand scans of client software and web assets.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a cloud environment, hands-on admin experience across Linux/Windows, scripting skills, and a proven track record securing large, complex environments.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a cloud environment.
• Experience in security design and architecture reviews of large applications, systems, and networks.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, networking, firewalls, and hands-on administration/engineering.
• Scripting skills and understanding of basic variables, loops, arrays, and functions.
• Track record of securing large and complex environments (data centers or industrial spaces).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure configurations for cloud services to meet framework security controls.
• Conduct on-demand scans of customer software products and web assets.
• Assist in cyber security and IT security engineering project delivery.

Job Description:

The Cloud Security Assessor will be responsible for developing and implementing secure configurations of cloud services to ensure resources are deployed in compliance with framework security controls. The Cloud Security Assessor will also employ tools to conduct on-demand scans of customer software products and web assets.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of cyber security and IT security engineering projects.
• Research cloud service documentation to outline secure configurations and potential risks associated with each service.
• Assess the risk posture and exposure of misconfigured services.
• Develop guardrails to ensure services are deployed in a secure configuration.
• Deploy cloud resources using both the web interface and command line utilities.
• Evaluate and recommend security software/hardware and its integration into existing architecture.
• Create security matrix checks from the security configurations.
• Apply the appropriate security controls to the checks from the required compliance framework.

Required Qualifications:
