Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Technology Cloud Security Architect to join the Security team in a hybrid work model in New York. The role focuses on protecting cloud architectures, developing security frameworks, and guiding secure migration of enterprise apps to major cloud providers (Azure/AWS).

You will lead risk assessments and collaborate across Technology teams. Required are 3+ years in cloud security, strong knowledge of Azure/AWS, and familiarity with CSA/NIST CSF.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud security architecture and risk mitigation.
• Proficiency with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of CSA, NIST CSF and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a security architecture framework aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Architect, design and communicate cloud security technologies for a secure computing environment.
• Lead risk assessments, security lifecycle, and incident response coordination.
• Provide IAM controls and security guidance across SDLC.
• Collaborate with other architects to integrate security into projects.
