Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Cloud Security Consultant for a contract role in Peoria, IL. The candidate will drive security remediation with app teams, develop security policies, and help ensure services meet enterprise security requirements.

Required: 1–3 years in cloud and level 2 IT operations, AWS familiarity, and strong communication. Responsibilities include risk metrics, threat modeling, and data handling controls; on-site in Peoria.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT security operations experience
• Experience with Prisma Cloud (Redlock, Twistlock, PureSec)
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Professional information security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, GISCP, GWAPT, GWEB etc)
• Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to explain security concepts to non-security audiences
• Strong information security technologies knowledge
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams for process review and improvement
• Additional Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS)
• Web Application Firewall experience
• Knowledge of security processes: defense in depth, SDLC, IAM, business process design, web services security

Description

The Cloud security consultant is responsible for facilitating security efforts and remediating security vulnerabilities partnering with app teams to identify gaps and remediate security issues. Security Engineers will help develop policies and assist development teams in implementing solutions to close those security gaps and make services compliant to enterprise security requirements.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
