The role emphasizes collaboration, scalability, and high availability within OCI-led environments. Requirements include US citizenship with security clearance readiness, a CS degree or equivalent, and hands-on experience with Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, Java, and Ruby.

Qualifications

• US citizen with willingness to obtain federal security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with distributed data processing systems (e.g. Hadoop, Kafka, HBase).
• Hands-on experience writing code in Java and Ruby.
• Ability to design software components in a distributed system.
• Strong communication of technical ideas, both written and verbal.
• 1-6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design discussions to build distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant software systems.
• Implement and build cloud services on top of OCI infrastructure.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from design to production.
• Invest in engineering and operational practices to ensure high quality.
• Optimize data processing pipelines to improve throughput and latency.
• Leverage industry tools to develop, build, deploy, and troubleshoot software.
