The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Cloud Sales Account Executive to drive new logo sales and nurture the growth of existing accounts. In this role, you will take on multiple responsibilities, including hands-on sales engagements, identifying target companies, uncovering customer challenges to create sales opportunities, and presenting CloudHesive’s value proposition. The primary focus of this role is to sell technology services within a defined territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities, while managing the entire sales process—from business development and prospecting to contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support for assigned accounts.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Expand market share within the territory by locating, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities, including developing business relationships with third parties.
  2. Collaborate with technical staff to create, present, and refine detailed proposals with technology solutions tailored to clients.
  3. Establish, build, and maintain relationships with AWS and other market partners.
  4. Maintain communication and reporting cadence with key stakeholders at AWS.
  5. Track and report on individual leads and opportunities, as well as overall pipeline and business results in your territory.
  6. Evaluate insights from customer interactions, identify opportunities for further business process improvements, and prepare a compelling business case including pain points, cost justifications, and high-impact needs that can be addressed by CloudHesive.
  7. Assist junior Account Executives in preparing business cases and prepping for customer calls.
  8. Ensure customer needs and issues are addressed quickly and delegate to the appropriate team within CloudHesive; track ongoing issues and suggest fixes.
  9. Maintain consistent communication with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction with the sales and onboarding process.
  10. Partner with senior leadership and professional services to deliver excellent service, including onboarding, to current and prospective clients.
  11. Accurately track and forecast opportunities, create and articulate client-specific value propositions, business cases, and win strategies for all opportunities.
  12. Deliver assigned sales quotas.
  13. Collaborate with Business Development (internal demand generation reps) on prospecting campaigns.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned or as they arise.

Is this role for you?

Qualifications:

  1. A combination of education, training, and relevant experience in sales, business development, or technology-related fields is strongly preferred.
  2. Must be comfortable and articulate in client-facing solution selling.
  3. Prior experience in selling managed services or cloud/hybrid services.
  4. Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills are a must.
  5. Must be knowledgeable with technologies such as Amazon Web Services and/or other cloud technologies; Contact Center and Unified Communications; Virtualization technologies; Managed Services.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to work in technology-related sales or business development.
  2. Ability to work in consultative selling of professional and/or managed services.
  3. Ability to manage complex sales cycles; strong closing skills.
  4. Ability to manage contract negotiations and redlining.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with C-suite executives.
  6. Willingness and ability to travel 40% or more.

Location:

  • Remote – Based in South Florida.
