Job summary

Concept Plus, LLC is seeking a QA Test Engineer to lead testing for a cloud-hosted (AWS) government web application. You will also validate the Drupal CMS front-end and content layer, ensuring reliability, performance, and accessibility across a USWDS-themed public site.

The role requires hands-on AWS testing, Selenium automation, and experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508). Collaboration with Agile teams and strong documentation will be essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or ability to obtain government clearance
• 3–5 years of QA/testing experience with hands-on AWS testing
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for automated testing
• Knowledge of Drupal 9/10 architecture and content structure
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility standards
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (Jira/Zephyr)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile development environment

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans validating AWS infrastructure components (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront)
• Perform load, performance, and scalability testing to ensure reliability under government-user traffic
• Validate infrastructure-as-code deployments (CloudFormation/Terraform) across dev/staging/production
• Test failover, backup, and disaster recovery configurations
• Conduct security and configuration testing aligned to compliance requirements
• Validate USWDS theme rendering and cross-browser/responsive behavior
• Test Drupal pages against design specs and perform content validation
• Support regression testing after Drupal core/module updates
• Document defects and infrastructure risks using Jira/Azure DevOps/etc.
