Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/CE or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Infrastructure foundational capabilities.
• 1–5+ years of experience with Policy as Code (HashiCorp Sentinel) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform) focused on security controls.
• Evaluating cloud-native offerings and documenting controls, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Perform feasibility studies to define the controls into scope for policy as code enablement.

Our banking client is seeking a Cloud Policy as Code Engineer to join their team. As a Cloud Policy as Code Engineer, you will be part of the Security Engineering Department supporting cloud security and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cloud Policy as Code Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)

Type: 12+ month contract

Required:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Infrastructure foundational capabilities
• 1-5+ years of experience with Policy as Code (HashiCorp Sentinel), infrastructure automation tools (Terraform), and a focus on implementing security controls for all types of cloud infrastructure.
• Evaluating cloud-native offerings and documenting controls, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Perform feasibility studies to define the controls into scope for policy as code enablement.
• Define and develop policy-as-code frameworks (e.g., Sentinel and cloud-native) for Infrastructure-as-Code deployment pipelines (e.g., Terraform).
