Lab37 Robotics is seeking a qualified Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own the platform that powers its robotics fleet. You will design scalable ML infra, automate ML workflows, and manage data pipelines from robot telemetry to analytics.

Work with a small, high-impact team focused on building self-service ML platforms, model deployment, and observability. This onsite Pittsburgh role offers a competitive base salary and equity potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Cloud infrastructure, MLOps, and data engineering at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ML infrastructure that abstracts storage, pipeline management, and environment setup.
• Implement robust systems for automated model checkpointing, metadata management, and experiment tracking across distributed training runs.
• Create self-service ML workflows and tooling for ML engineers and data scientists.
• Build and maintain automated ETL and data ingestion pipelines that stream robot telemetry into datasets for training/analytics.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD automation for model deployment and data processing.
• Partner with cloud and embedded engineers to streamline model deployment to robot fleets and participate in on-call rotations for platform reliability.
• Monitor and optimize cloud compute costs and system throughput.
