Job summary

Glean is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Platform Infrastructure team. You will help bootstrap cloud accounts, wire authentication, and turn deployment workflows into reliable, repeatable productized experiences for customers.

This role focuses on complex cloud, hosting, and security environments. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of backend and infrastructure experience, hands-on AWS and GCP, and Terraform or similar IaC tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in platform, infrastructure, or cloud-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS and GCP.
• Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve systems that automate customer setup and deployment across cloud environments.
• Develop deployment workflows and infrastructure as code templates that mirror customer environments.
• Improve support for complex deployment scenarios including BYO-VPC, customer-managed keys, airgapped environments, and custom-region deployments.
• Work on cloud account and project bootstrapping, authentication wiring, proxy and private networking, and deployment orchestration.
• Partner closely with Platform, Security, Product, and customer-facing teams to make deployments faster, safer, and easier to operate.
• Raise the quality, reliability, and coverage of our AWS and GCP deployment tooling over time.
