Job summary

DC Government’s OCTO is seeking a Supervisory IT Specialist to lead the DC Cloud platform engineering and operations, guiding hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation platforms that support 75+ agencies.

You will mentor a high-impact engineering team, manage budgets and roadmaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure across the District.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience at grade 14 level or equivalent.
• Experience directly related to DC Cloud platform engineering, IT infrastructure, and program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead DC Cloud platform engineering and operations, including hybrid cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee budget, staffing, and performance metrics for DC Cloud.
• Define infrastructure and platform requirements in collaboration with District agencies.
• Provide coaching and career development to DC Cloud staff.
• Develop governance frameworks, KPIs, and runbooks to ensure reliability.
