Job summary

LPL Financial Holdings Inc. is seeking a motivated and technology-driven Platform Engineer (new grad) to help build, automate, and enhance the enterprise platforms powering advisor-facing applications, data systems, and internal services.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, platform engineering, and operational excellence practices to deliver secure, scalable solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS, MIS, software engineering or related field.
• Available to work from LPL Financial's primary office locations.
• Strong problem solving, systems thinking, and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud and platform services.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Support cloud operations and platform engineering initiatives focused on availability and resilience.
• Participate in monitoring, observability, and incident response activities.
• Contribute to security, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives.
• Assist with CI/CD pipeline enhancements and automation efforts.
• Document platform architectures, workflows, and engineering standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and identify improvements.
