Cloud Platform Engineer (multiple positions) (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Burlington, MA): As a Cloud Platform Engineer you will be part of Cloud Platform Engineering for a technical domain or initiative, working with multiple scrum teams, engineering managers and architects to deliver a well-architected, principled technology platform. Will apply deep knowledge and hands on implementation experience on Azure Infrastructure and networking as well as hands on experience with systems administration/engineering, Azure networking, and scripting with Infrastructure As Code using ARM, Terraform. Will own the design/implementation/execution of the next gen cloud platform and will design cloud platform solutions honoring cloud native principles; Will leverage hands on experience designing and engineering Azure services; Will design and deploy enterprise-scale solutions; perform technology investigations to develop and maintain the knowledge base of current leading edge and developing technologies with the goal of using the knowledge to identify emerging business opportunities and in support of existing business programs; Be the liaison with project teams on cloud technologies and solutions; Communicate Architecture guidelines and technical details to technical and non-technical audiences; and will Lead efforts of virtual teams. Will understand regional cultural considerations and form tight working relationships. Telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical or analytical field plus 5 years in any occupation/title providing hands-on technology experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical or analytical field plus 3 years in any occupation/title providing hands-on technology experience.

Must also have the following: Demonstrated deep understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies and services; Working experience with global azure deployments; Working experience implementing Azure Infrastructure solutions and Azure Networking; Working experience with highly segmented networks in public and private clouds; Working experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies in Azure; Excellent communication, documentation and troubleshooting skills; a proven innovative approach to work, constantly looking to upgrade the system to more efficient and effective new technologies and processes; and Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the stated ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years or amount of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently.)

Salary: $172,744 to $190,000 per year.
