Cloud Platform Engineer (Multiple Positions)

State Street Bank and Trust Company; Burlington, MA

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Platform Engineering team for a specific technical domain or initiative. You will collaborate with multiple scrum teams, engineering managers, and architects to deliver a well-architected, principled technology platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Applying deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and scripting with Infrastructure as Code using ARM and Terraform.
2. Owning the design, implementation, and execution of the next-generation cloud platform, ensuring solutions adhere to cloud-native principles.
3. Designing and deploying enterprise-scale solutions on Azure.
4. Conducting technology investigations to stay current with leading-edge and emerging technologies, supporting business opportunities and existing programs.
5. Acting as a liaison with project teams on cloud technologies and solutions.
6. Communicating architecture guidelines and technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Leading virtual teams and understanding regional cultural considerations to foster strong working relationships.

Telecommuting is permitted according to company policy.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 5 years of hands-on technology experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.

Must Have Skills

• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies and services.
• Experience with global Azure deployments.
• Experience implementing Azure Infrastructure solutions and Azure Networking.
• Experience with highly segmented networks in public and private clouds.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies in Azure.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
• An innovative approach to work, always seeking to upgrade systems with new technologies and processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Salary Range

$172,744 - $190,000 annually
