Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a mid‑level Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize a multi‑cloud environment (GCP/Azure) and Google Workspace. You will drive IaC adoption, CI/CD, and platform modernization while ensuring security and cost efficiency across global teams.

Hybrid role based in Milwaukee, WI, with contract-to-hire opportunities. 3+ years of experience and strong scripting skills are required; AWS exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in Cloud/Infrastructure/DevOps or related field.
• Strong hands-on GCP and/or Azure experience.
• Terraform/Ansible for IaC; Docker/Kubernetes for containers.
• CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment experience.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud infra in GCP/Azure.
• Implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible and automation best practices.
• Monitor, optimize performance, reliability, and cost.
• Lead FinOps initiatives and cloud cost optimization.
• Administer Google Workspace and Cloud Identity environments.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize deployments and security.
• Support cloud modernization and security governance.
