Job summary

DTCC is seeking a Senior AWS and Terraform Engineer to design, build, and automate enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure across AWS using Terraform. You will create reusable modules, enforce security, and align with governance standards while enabling scalable provisioning for multiple teams.

The role emphasizes CI/CD integration, state management, and collaboration with security and platform teams in a hybrid work model across US locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Terraform expertise with reusable modules and remote state.
• Hands-on AWS networking, IAM, security, compute and storage.
• Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of policy-as-code and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Terraform modules and IaC patterns for AWS.
• Create standardized AWS infrastructure blueprints for compute, network, security, and storage.
• Build secure, scalable AWS environments (VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise change processes.
• Enable self-service provisioning through reusable templates and APIs.
• Triage and resolve complex AWS/Terraform deployment issues.
• Establish best practices for tagging, cost optimization, resiliency, and observability.
