Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure design and deployment using Terraform.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience building and operating Amazon EKS or Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with HashiCorp Packer for machine images.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, IAM, VPCs, load balancing, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support secure, highly available AWS infrastructure for production and development environments.
• Develop IaC using Terraform as primary provisioning tool.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and enforce IaC best practices.
• Operate and optimize Amazon EKS Kubernetes platforms for containerized apps.
• Build hardened Linux images using Packer.
• Automate provisioning and deployments with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo CD).
• Apply AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager).
• Monitor platform health with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues; participate in on-call rotation.
• Develop automation tooling with Python, Go, or Bash.
