Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with AWS experience and strong Linux skills to develop and integrate cloud-native components. You will work on open-source integration and modern Big Data/cloud tech while solving complex problems autonomously.

Ideal candidates have Python or Go experience and are comfortable in a hybrid setup, spending time in the Columbia, MD office and collaborating with Architects on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for U.S. Government security clearance (clearance required eventually).
• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's; or 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years with a HS diploma.
• Experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes (cluster administration & troubleshooting).
• Experience with container tooling (Docker/Podman) and Kubernetes automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture for software from prototype to production.
• Define, build and manage cloud infrastructure using modern IaC approaches.
• Work on infrastructure as code to improve robustness of existing code bases.
• Collaborate with Architects and cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals.
