Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cloud/platform engineering, SRE, or database/data infrastructure engineering.
• Experience operating managed database services in cloud environments, especially Azure SQL.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle and MongoDB query patterns.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation (Terraform, Bicep/ARM).
• Knowledge of security, governance, and cost management in cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the cloud platform lifecycle in Azure and database lifecycle in hybrid environments.
• Design, deploy, and operate Azure-based cloud infrastructure with IaC.
• Build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines for analytics and operations.
• Perform DBA operations: maintenance windows, patches, and job scheduling.
• Implement observability and security controls with Azure Monitor and CloudWatch.
