Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to advance our cloud infrastructure for federal government projects. The role emphasizes AWS, Python or Go, Linux, and hybrid work with a strong team.

You will design scalable architectures from prototype to production, travel periodically, and contribute to IaC and automation while collaborating with security and enterprise architects. Candidates must meet citizenship and clearance requirements; growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Security clearance not required on day 1, but will be processed; U.S. citizenship required; Secret/TS considered.
• 5+ years in Platform Engineering or Software Development (Python/Go) with related degree; or 3 years with Masters; or 9+ years with HS.
• Willing to travel to San Antonio, TX ~3-4 days every three months.
• Hybrid environment with 1-2 days per week at Columbia, MD office.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and optimize existing code base.
• Define, build and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud using IaC.
• Design and implement core architecture from prototype to production.
• Other duties as assigned.
