Job summary

KBX Logistics is seeking a Cloud Engineer to operate, maintain, and improve our cloud platform supporting application teams. You will implement infrastructure changes, support access requests, and troubleshoot issues across AWS services and containerized workloads.

Entry-level candidates are welcome. You will work with senior engineers, follow established designs, and contribute to security, reliability, and cost-management efforts while building platform skills through hands-on work and

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Experience with AWS concepts and services such as compute, networking, storage, IAM, security groups, subnets, routing, and monitoring.
• Experience deploying, managing, or supporting containerized applications in Kubernetes environments (EKS, ingress, service mesh).
• Experience scripting in Python, PowerShell, or shell.
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, monitoring, logging, incident response, and change-management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and support AWS infrastructure using established designs, security controls, and change-management practices.
• Work with senior engineers to clarify requirements and technical decisions.
• Maintain, monitor, upgrade, and troubleshoot cloud platform technologies including EKS, Istio, Kong, Kafka, and Redis.
• Use Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions to provision infrastructure and deploy platform changes.
• Manage IAM, access, networking, encryption, and secrets requests using established standards.
