Job summary

Bright Minds is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer for a 100% remote role. You will focus on platform observability, monitoring, and tooling across Kubernetes clusters in AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role requires strong experience with Terraform IaC, CI/CD, and GitOps practices to enable reliable cloud deployments. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in cloud platform engineering, hands-on scripting, and a track record in building scalable observability solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud platform engineering focusing on observability and cloud-native tooling.
• Designing and maintaining observability solutions and report generation.
• Hands-on scripting or software engineering experience desired.
• Expertise in CI/CD, IaC/Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Linux environments.
• Experience with Thanos, OpsGenie, Prometheus is desired.
• Comfortable with on-call rotation with team.
• Kubernetes certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Automate IaC infrastructure using Terraform and build cloud delivery pipelines.
• Implement GitOps practices and tooling to streamline deployments.
• Design and maintain observability platforms and generate insightful reports.
• Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to improve reliability and incident response.

Our global and industry leading SaaS development client is searching for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in platform observability, application and infrastructure monitoring, and tooling platform development solutions in the cloud. This position is 100% Remote for qualified candidates with strong Kubernetes clustering and operations background.

The Cloud Platform Engineer will partner with software and devops engineering teams to monitor Kubernetes Clusters, automate IaC infrastructure with Terraform, build cloud pipelines, and implement GitOps tools and best practices. Ideal candidates will be experts in designing and maintaining observability solutions and passionate about implementing newer observability and monitoring tools in multi‑cloud environments that the SaaS application is deployed in (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Requirements for the Cloud Platform Engineer:

• 5+ Years of Cloud Platform Engineering experience with expertise in Application and Infrastructure Observability
• Strengths in designing and maintaining observability solutions, report generation, and GitOps
• Hands on Scripting or Software Engineering experience is desired
