The role focuses on modernizing legacy systems to cloud-native architectures, driving multi-year strategy, and delivering secure, scalable solutions with strong leadership and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree with 12+ years in software and cloud infra engineering.
• Experience managing business priorities and balancing pace vs. perfection.
• Strong Java backend API development with AWS experience.
• Experience directing technical teams in Agile/Scrum.
• Assist VP of Engineering in multi-year tech strategy for BRT Application Solutions.
• Lead modernization of Application Platforms, Gateways and Composite Solutions to cloud-native.
• Lead, influence, and motivate engineers focused on Cloud Migrations and API Platforms.
• Support large-scale, mission-critical apps with minimal downtime.
• Proven leadership to recruit and develop talent.
• Expert in building containerized apps using Spring Boot and Micronaut.
• Experience with Java, Python, Golang, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, Helm, Terraform.
• Strong communication with both tech and non-tech stakeholders.
• Retail financial markets or regulated industries experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Influence backlog and prioritization for BRT App Solutions Engineering.
• Deliver solutions to BRT development teams and provide support.
• Develop viewpoints on emerging trends to drive efficiency and speed to market.
• Organize and drive team work to deliver maximum value to partners.
• Share insights and industry practices across the organization.
