Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Platform Architect to bridge Platform Engineering and application development for a next‑gen internal platform. The candidate should be T‑shaped with breadth across disciplines and depth in software engineering or cloud infrastructure.

Fluency in Go, Java, Python is preferred, with Terraform familiarity and strong cloud design experience. You will lead others to deliver rock‑solid solutions for internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience or related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience on an Agile/Kanban team and understanding of SDLC.
• QSR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers and staff, providing guidance to drive innovation and risk-taking.
• Plan and facilitate cross-functional workshops and inceptions to align technology decisions.
• Develop and enhance engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, CI, and design docs.
• Deliver architecture by building software and data solutions from a cloud perspective.
