Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Data Engineer (Azure) to design and maintain scalable data solutions in the Microsoft data ecosystem. You will ensure data flows and transformations support data-driven decision making across a global, 100% remote team.

Use Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and Python to build end-to-end pipelines, model data, and enable BI reporting with Power BI. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Proven expertise in building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI integration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and wrangling.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data governance best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to automate data movement and transformation.
• Develop and optimize complex data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
• Write and refine high-performance SQL and Python scripts for data processing and analytic workflows.
• Integrate data solutions with Power BI to enable comprehensive visualization and business intelligence reporting.
• Manage data modeling and warehousing strategies to ensure high performance and data integrity across the Azure platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure the scalability of the enterprise data infrastructure.
