Job summary

JW Affinity IT is seeking a cloud administrator to manage and secure district cloud environments, services, and identities. You will ensure reliable operations, implement backups, monitor health, and document configurations and processes.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in IT (or related field) and 3–5 years of cloud administration experience, with hands-on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud work and solid scripting/automation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of systems or cloud administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with identity and access management, networking, monitoring, backup, and scripting/automation.
• Working knowledge of security controls and IT service management.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. Relevant cloud certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers and supports the district’s cloud environments, services, identities, and operational tooling.
• Maintains secure, reliable, and cost-conscious cloud operations; monitors health and capacity; resolves incidents; manages backups and access; and documents configurations and procedures.
