Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a Cloud Network Security Subject Matter Expert to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud network solutions across hybrid environments, supporting migrations and ensuring DoD directives.

You will lead security engineering, configure cloud-native controls, automate with Python/PowerShell, and collaborate with global teams to deliver resilient network architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years in a network engineering or telecommunications environment.
• OS Certification: CCNA or higher; IAT Level II preferred.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migrations (AWS, Azure).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and document cloud security solutions for multi-vendor environments.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native security components and WAFs.
• Automate deployment tasks with Python/PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot performance, sizing, and monitoring in cloud environments.
• Extend on-prem networks to cloud via direct connect and gateways.
• Collaborate with Network and Security SMEs and provide leadership support.
• Create comprehensive documentation and training materials.
