Job summary

Core4ce seeks a Cloud Network Security Subject Matter Expert to design, deploy, and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on‑prem environments, with a focus on DoD-compliant architectures. You will lead security architecture, TLS inspection, and automation initiatives, spanning GOV and commercial cloud contexts.

This role requires TS clearance, CCNA/CCNP-level knowledge, and hands-on experience with F5, Palo Alto and related tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience (5-7 years in network engineering).
Must be able to obtain TS security clearance.
OS Certification (CCNA or higher); CCNP level equivalent knowledge.
8570: Engineering IAT Level II cert eligible (CCNA Security / CySA+ / GICSP / GSEC / Security+ CE or SSCP).
Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
IP network design & troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, engineer, and document security solutions across multi-vendor platforms for enterprise security architecture including GOV cloud environments.
Design, deploy, upgrade, and support security components in a hybrid cloud network.
Leverage scripting (Python, PowerShell) to streamline deployment and operations.
Troubleshoot server performance, workload distribution, and cloud tooling to maintain visibility of metrics.
Extend on-premise networks to the cloud over direct connect and private gateways.
Provide security expertise for migrations to cloud, including TLS decryption and inspection.
Collaborate with Network and Security SMEs to support deployment and sustainment teams.
