Job summary

GCI is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer II to support Data Center, Campus LAN, Internet Edge, and Branch Office networks. You will work with Cloud Network/Systems/DevOps engineers to deploy Hybrid Cloud and SDDC platforms, improving deployment frequency and recovery times.

The role emphasizes design, automation, and continuous delivery of scalable network infrastructure, with remote site support and collaboration across teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in cloud networking are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer technologies, network engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of cloud networking experience.
• Experience with data center and campus LAN networking environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network and system facilities with high availability, efficiency, redundancy, and security.
• Develop and improve current network and systems facilities and document milestones.
• Configure firewalls, load balancers, routers, and switches for operations and projects.
• Automate and streamline operations to release reliable network infrastructure faster.
