Job summary

T-Rex Solutions, LLC is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to support the US Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort. You will design, deploy, and support network infrastructure across Azure, OCI, and on-prem/cloud integrations, focusing on security, scalability, and reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, Palo Alto and Cisco devices, and cloud networking. A US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust is required; on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and seven+ years of related experience or Master's with four+ years.
• Strong experience with Terraform.
• Experience with AWS Security group deployment using Terraform.
• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Solid TCP/IP networking knowledge (IEEE 802.1).
• Experience with EKS Cluster.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration, installation, and ongoing support of the network infrastructure across cloud platforms (Azure, OCI, GCP).
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices within cloud networks.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot VPCs, subnets, and SDN/virtual networking.
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting for network issues.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning for cloud networks.
