Job summary

Peraton is seeking a CloudArchitect to join our Annapolis Junction, MD area team as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies, delivering cloud engineering and architecture for hybrid platforms.

The role focuses on network connectivity, deployment, and security services across the enterprise, collaborating with engineering, development, and project management teams. A TS/SCI clearance and IAT Level 2 certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 14 years' system engineering experience with a BS degree; 5 additional years may substitute for a BS, totaling 19 years.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• Minimum IAT Level 2 certification (Security+).
• Understanding CSPs (Amazon, Azure, Oracle) and TS, S, U Gov't networks.
• Understanding carrier neutral datacenters for connectivity and transport.
• Experience in ExpressRoute/VPN/Gateway, FastConnect, Direct Connect/Transit Gateway.

Responsibilities

• Consult as a CloudArchitect on leading edge information technologies and methodologies.
• Provide full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, and network security services.
• Support application modernization and transition of legacy apps into hybrid cloud platforms.
