Job summary

Peraton in Annapolis seeks a senior cloud architect to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions for mission-critical environments. You will architect infrastructure, define specifications, and lead CI/CD and IaC initiatives.

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deploy cloud platforms, assess cost-benefit, and ensure security for national security programs. Requires TS/SCI clearance and AWS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field is required.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 4+ years with Master's degree
• 6+ years developing in Java, C, or C++.
• 5+ years UNIX/Linux (Red Hat 3-5) experience
• 3+ years software integration and testing including test plans

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements secure cloud-based solutions for scalable, mission-critical environments.
• Architects cloud infrastructure, develops detailed technical plans, and defines deployment specifications.
• Leads deployment and integration of cloud management platforms, evaluates system performance, and improves reliability and efficiency.
• Performs operations and maintenance of secure managed cloud platforms; implements automation and IaC; leverages CI/CD pipelines.
