Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. seeks a System Software Integrator to support the architecture, development and testing of a next-generation system, including HA cloud-based storage, orchestration solutions, edge devices, and system management.

You will integrate and certify custom software applications prior to delivery. The role involves working with an agile team, prototyping a cloud-based Linux system, and rapidly evaluating technology viability for technical leads.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience and three or more years of professional experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work overtime and off shift when dictated to support business needs.
Task driven with ability to work independently.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships with the team members which fosters team success.
Must have or be able to obtain and keep a DoD SECRET security clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

Technical engagements and presentations with technical leads.
Working with a small to medium-sized agile team.
Prototyping a cloud-based Linux system that supports a variety of application footprints.
Rapid evaluation of technology viability to technical leads.
70% of the position is integrating FOSS, COTS and internally developed applications
