Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain end-to-end system architectures for complex software and data systems.
• Provide input to system and solution design, including trade-offs and requirements analysis.
• Design and integrate software components using microservices, event-driven, API-centric, and cloud-native approaches.
• Apply systems and software engineering methodologies to development, integration, and production environments.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, manage cost and schedule impacts, and support modernization and cloud migration.
• Review and test components for adherence to design and architecture requirements; participate in reviews and readiness events.
• Contribute to DevSecOps processes across all design, development, integration, and deployment phases to ensure automated, validated architectures.
• Develop and deliver technical briefings and architecture overviews for stakeholders and government.
• Analyze current technologies and data flows to develop modernization roadmaps and engineering plans; prototype where appropriate.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and reference architectures for applicability to mission needs and proof-of-concept efforts.
