Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect in Charlotte, NC to guide the architectural direction for cloud-native microservices, streaming platforms, and modular front-end frameworks across a large digital product portfolio.

In this role you will partner with engineering leadership, product, and DevOps to balance scalability, velocity, security and maintainability across platforms, while mentoring engineers and driving architectural excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud-native apps and microservices
• Strong knowledge of REST, event-driven patterns, and API-first design
• Proficiency with modern front-end architectures and micro-frontends
• Experience with identity management, authentication, and secure authorization
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and observability strategies
• Collaborative with DevOps and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead high-level architecture and design for cloud-native apps across a large product portfolio
• Guide API-first service designs and ensure separation of concerns between front-end, back-end, and third-party integrations
• Modernize legacy systems into scalable event-driven microservices
• Define and promote modular micro-frontend patterns using scalable UI technologies
• Drive CI/CD and observability strategy with DevOps teams
• Mentor engineers and elevate technical maturity across the organization
