Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Software Architect to design, implement, and lead cloud-native modernization efforts across enterprise systems. You will drive architecture, design, and implementation of scalable software solutions using SOLID principles, DDD, CQRS, and microservices with .NET and Angular.

This senior role involves collaborating across teams, providing technical guidance, and conducting architectural reviews while staying current with industry trends. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years of experience with software development
• 5+ years of experience with Domain-Driven-Design, Event-Driven-Architecture, Clean Architecture, and CQRS
• 5+ years of experience with microservice application design
• 5+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• 2+ years of experience with ESB and messaging systems
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance (Confidential/Secret or Top Secret)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software architectures using modern design patterns and DDD
• Collaborate with development teams to produce high-quality code with .NET and Angular
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on design and best practices
• Conduct architectural reviews ensuring alignment with goals and requirements
• Stay updated with industry trends and apply them to solutions
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions with BAs
