Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Cloud Architect & Enterprise Architect to drive cloud migration strategy and develop new cloud-native applications. The role supports a flexible remote setup for US-based work, with a Minneapolis or DC office 4 days a week as required.

Responsibilities include serving as SME for cloud/EA, leading high-visibility projects, and mapping cloud/infrastructure roadmaps for client environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT.
• 12+ years infra/app design, architecture or delivery.
• 10+ years digital transformation experience across business areas.
• 7+ years legacy and cloud modernization.
• 5+ years consulting with top firms or hyperscalers (Azure and/or AWS).
• 5+ years experience in data eng, AI, process improvement, etc.
• 5+ years sales process & opportunity tracking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Cloud subject matter expert on Cloud, Enterprise Architecture and related technologies.
• Lead vision, complex and high-visibility projects.
• Develop cloud strategy, data modernization, architecture, and infrastructure roadmaps.
• Architect solutions for cloud and data in new apps or migrations.
• Prepare client materials and present Cloud strategy/architecture discussions.
• Design and present deployment patterns using public/private/hybrid cloud.
• Experience in cloud automation, monitoring and optimization.
