gobravvo, a leading financial services organization in New York, seeks a Software Engineer to modernize legacy systems into cloud-native platforms using Rust and AWS. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend or software engineering, focusing on cloud-native distributed systems in AWS production environments.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with Rust, including asynchronous programming, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Strong background in C#/.NET and microservices/service-oriented architectures, including migration or modernization of legacy platforms.
• Deep understanding of AWS core services and cloud architectural patterns, such as networking, VPC, IAM/security, compute, containerization, and monitoring/logging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance cloud-native distributed systems in production environments using AWS.
• Lead migration projects from legacy environments to modern cloud platforms.
• Focus on scalable, high-performance backend services prioritizing reliability, security, and operational excellence.
• Engage in full software development lifecycle including planning, deployment, and maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews and implement automated testing procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code practices to maintain robust and resilient systems.
